Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a driver/operator to deliver and pick up packages, ensuring courteous, efficient service. You will check shipments for conformance with FedEx standards and provide related customer service functions in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum education is a high school diploma or GED with a valid license for the vehicle type assigned. Medical exams are required per FMCSA/FAA regulations, and applicants must be at least 21 years old.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and handle heavier packages with equipment or assistance.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Neat appearance required due to customer contact.
• Medical exam required per FMCSA/FAA regulations.
• Non-covered safety-sensitive position; medical exam required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Able to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and directions.

Minimum Education

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Medical exam required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Pay Transparency:

Pay: $22.11 / hr

Additional Details: Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:30pm
