Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a part-time delivery driver to operate company vehicles, delivering and picking up packages with courteous, efficient service. You will ensure shipments conform to FedEx service features and assist customers as needed.

Minimum education includes a high school diploma or GED, and you must be licensed for your vehicle type. This is a part-time position (Mon/Wed/Sat) with equal opportunity employment and accommodations on request.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Medical exam required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
