Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a Driver/Operator to deliver and pick up packages with courtesy and efficiency. The role requires a valid vehicle license and the ability to meet FMCSA safety standards.

Location is Doral, FL, with five days per week on-site, Monday through Saturday schedule support. Responsibilities include safe vehicle operation, accurate shipment checks, and performing related customer service duties.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with equipment or assistance.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills for customer-facing duties.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to read/speak English.
• Must meet FMCSA safety and medical requirements as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate FedEx vehicles following company policies and safety rules.
• Deliver and pick up packages, ensuring courteous and efficient service.
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards and perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Monday- Saturday 12:00PM-20:00PM during weekday and 08:30am - 17:30 pm on Saturdays, with a day off during the week.

The desired location for this position would be Doral, FL. Employees will be required to work at the FedEx location five days a week.

Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED. Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Medical exam required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
