Job summary

Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. in Houston is hiring for a full-time Courier/Logistics role on the 2nd shift (hours 1-9pm, Mon-Fri with rotating Saturdays).

You will transport patient specimens and reports between the lab and health-care providers, ensuring safe handling and compliance while delivering excellent customer service. The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment under time

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record in the past three years.
• Ability to operate a vehicle in all weather and traffic conditions.

Responsibilities

This Opportunity Is

Location: Houston Main

Status: Full-time

Days: Mon-Fri rotating Saturdays

In This Role, You Will

• Perform a vital part of the patient care process by ensuring that reports, records, supplies, and medical specimens are successfully transported between the laboratory and healthcare provider locations.
• Ensure proper specimen handling, transport, and safe operation of a motor vehicle – rain or shine!
• Interact with a variety of clients and commit to customer-focused service.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.

All You Need Is

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record for the past three years.
• Confidence operating a vehicle in all weather and traffic conditions and navigating routine hazards of the road.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under time constraints, without close supervision.
• Physical capability of light to medium lifting (up to 50lbs).

Bonus Points If You’ve Got

• 2+ years of experience operating conventional vehicles for business purposes. This includes cars, trucks, and/or vans.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
