Job summary

Sonic Healthcare USA is seeking a dedicated Courier/Logistics staff member based in Reno, Nevada. This full-time role involves transporting reports, records, supplies, and medical specimens between our laboratory and healthcare providers in the Reno area.

You will handle specimen transport safely, operate a vehicle under various conditions, and interact with clients to deliver reliable, customer-focused service. The position supports a strong safety and quality culture and offers full benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record in the last 3 years.
• Ability to operate a vehicle in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Transport reports, records, supplies, and medical specimens between the laboratory and healthcare provider locations.
• Ensure proper specimen handling and safe operation of a motor vehicle in all weather.
• Interact with clients and provide customer-focused service.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.

In this role, you will:

• Perform a vital part of the patient care process by making sure that reports, records, supplies, and medical specimens are successfully transported between the laboratory and healthcare provider locations.
• Ensure proper specimen handling, transport, and safe operation of a motor vehicle - rain or shine!
• Interact with a variety of clients and commit to customer-focused service.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.

All you need is:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver's license and an excellent driving record for the past three years.
• Confidence operating a vehicle in all weather and traffic conditions and navigating routine hazards of the road.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under time constraints, without close supervision.
• Physical capability of light to medium lifting (up to 50lbs).

Bonus points if you've got:

• 2+ years of experience operating conventional vehicles for business purposes. This includes cars, trucks, and/or vans.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
