Job summary

Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. in Odessa, TX is seeking a full-time Courier / Logistics professional for the 1st shift.

You will transport reports, records, supplies, and medical specimens between the laboratory and healthcare provider locations, ensuring safe handling and timely delivery. The role requires a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, the ability to work quickly under time constraints, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• A valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record for the past three years.
• Ability to operate a vehicle in all weather and traffic conditions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with time constraints and minimal supervision.
• Physical capability of light to medium lifting (up to 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Perform a vital part of the patient care process by ensuring reports, records, supplies, and medical specimens are transported between the laboratory and healthcare provider locations.
• Ensure proper specimen handling, transport, and safe operation of a motor vehicle regardless of weather.
• Interact with clients and provide customer-focused service.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.

In this role, you will:

• Interact with a variety of clients and commit to customer-focused service.

All you need is:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver's license and an excellent driving record for the past three years.
• Confidence operating a vehicle in all weather and traffic conditions and navigating routine hazards of the road.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under time constraints, without close supervision.
• Physical capability of light to medium lifting (up to 50lbs).

Bonus points if you've got:

• 2+ years of experience operating conventional vehicles for business purposes. This includes cars, trucks, and/or vans.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
