Sunrise Medical Laboratories, Inc. in Hicksville, NY is seeking a Courier / Logistics professional responsible for transporting reports, records, supplies, and specimens between the laboratory and healthcare facilities. You will handle specimens safely and operate a vehicle reliably in all weather.

Qualifications

LOCATION/HOURS:

• 250 Miller Place, Hicksville, NY 11801 3:00pm - 11:00pm; Saturday and Sunday
• 250 Miller Place, Hicksville, NY 11801 Shift Varies; Tuesday to Saturday

FULL TIME/PART TIME: 40hrs and 16hrs

HOURLY RATE: $17.00-$19.00/hr

In This Role, You Will

All You Need Is

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver's license and an excellent driving record for the past three years.
• Confidence operating a vehicle in all weather and traffic conditions and navigating routine hazards of the road.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under time constraints, without close supervision.
• Physical capability of light to medium lifting (up to 50lbs).

Bonus Points If You’ve Got

• 2+ years of experience operating conventional vehicles for business purposes. This includes cars, trucks, and/or vans.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
