Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents—a married couple living on campus to mentor 8–13 students, manage routines, supervise, and support academic, emotional, and social development.

This two-person role requires both spouses to be at least 27, have a high school diploma or GED, and obtain driver certifications to transport students. The placement path includes nine days on, three off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth or volunteers in related settings.
• Two-year married couple required, with both spouses aged 27 or older.
• High school diploma or GED required; ability to obtain driver-related certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and participate in developmental and recreational events.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
