Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students, creating a family-like environment that supports academic, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving to activities, leading devotions, and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples who are legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be 27 years or older and have valid U.S. driver’s licenses.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to a group of 8–13 students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and attend Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
• Work nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with progression to a placed houseparent living with the same group.
