Job summary

Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. The role places couples in on-campus student homes to provide care, mentorship, and supervision for groups of 8–13 students.

It is a two-person, full-time position with a schedule of nine days on, three off, and potential placement into a fixed student home later. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines, medication administration, transportation, devotions, and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
