Job summary

Milton Hershey School is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents on campus in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in student homes and supervise a group of 8–13 students, providing guidance, supervision, and development support.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, routine management, medication administration, activity planning, and leading devotions. The role progresses to a Placed Houseparent after initial placement.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Couples must be legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke‑free and weapon‑free campus; no alcohol on duty.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship of students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
