Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is seeking married couples to join as Full-time Flex Houseparents. You will live in on-campus student homes, supervise and mentor a group of 8–13 students, and support their academic, emotional, and social growth.

The role requires a two-person married couple (both 27+) with a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, and a willingness to lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. Housing, meals, and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; staff serve as role models.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan development and recreation.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
