Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is hiring married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents to reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students living in the home. Responsibilities include daily supervision, scheduling, medication administration, driving to activities, leading devotions, and budgeting.

Schedule starts with nine days on, followed by three off, with a path to a Placed Houseparent role and continued

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in the home.
• Valid U.S. drivers license and ability to drive student vans.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in development activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
