Job summary

Milton Hershey School is seeking full-time Flex Houseparents for a married couple. Residents live on campus and provide care, guidance, and supervision for 8–13 students in a home setting.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, routines, transportation to activities, and leading devotions. Couples must be married at least two years, both at least 27, and can expect a structured, faith-aligned campus environment with generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple requirement and marriage duration.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet restrictions: fish and one dog of approved breeds.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Chrisitian Sunday Chapel services.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
