Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students living in the home.

Flex Houseparents play a vital role in creating a structured, family‑like environment that fosters students' academic, emotional, and social development so they can reach their full potential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth in a caregiving or educational setting.
• Two-person married couple required for the role, at least two years.
• Both spouses must be 27 years or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Driver's license required and driving student vans may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to a group of 8–13 students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and participate in development and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
