Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples live in on-campus student homes, supervising approximately 8–13 students and supporting their academic, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities include daily mentorship, managing routines, supervising health needs, and coordinating activities. The positions begin with a nine-on, three-off schedule and progress to a placed houseparent role with ongoing housing and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmental and recreational events.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
