Job summary

Milton Hershey School is hiring married couples to serve as Full‑time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on‑campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8‑13 students living in the home.

Flex Houseparents work a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle and may transition to a placed houseparent role. The position offers a competitive salary of $46,917 per person, plus comprehensive benefits including health/dental/vision, retirement savings,

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
• High school diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students
• Manage household routines and student schedules
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental/recreational activities
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting
