Job summary

CrossCountry Consulting is seeking a seasoned consultant to lead Coupa implementations and deliver integrated advisory solutions across finance, procurement, and supply chain. You will mentor junior staff and collaborate with leadership to drive AI-powered client outcomes.

You’ll travel domestically 50-75% as projects require, contribute to practice development, and help design processes that optimize performance and value.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of consulting and/or relevant industry experience in financial system implementations.
  • Background in Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Sourcing, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience in configuring Coupa modules and one or more Coupa modules.
  • Experience with business process re-engineering, analysis, project management, and technical documentation (Visio/PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work with data to meet export/import requirements and data manipulation.
  • Ability to create design documentation for sourcing, vendors, AP, contracting, etc.
  • Comfort with AI: able to responsibly explore firm-approved AI tools.
  • Continuous learning mindset to apply emerging tech and automation.
  • Experience mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

  • Advise stakeholders through Coupa selection, transformation, implementation and configuration; oversee supplier enablement and best practices.
  • Work across the full Coupa suite: Procurement, Payables, Expenses, Asset Management.
  • Contribute to AI-enabled client solutions aligned with policy.
  • Stay updated on AI tools and identify compliant opportunities to enhance client solutions.
  • Mentor team members on career development, technical and soft skills.
  • Engage in recruiting, shadowing, marketing, business development, and practice initiatives.
  • Implement performance improvement and cost-reduction initiatives to drive efficiencies.

What You'll Do:
  • Advise key stakeholders through selection, transformation, implementation, and configuration of Coupa. Our consultants are hands‑on involved in full‑scale implementation, project management, change management, requirements and design, process improvement, chart of account redesign, testing, integration enablement support, oversee supplier enablement, and best practices
  • Utilize a broad array of technical experience encompassing the full Coupa suite –Procurement, Payables, Expenses and Asset Management
  • Contribute to developing and implementing firm‑approved, AI‑enabled solutions for clients, in accordance with company policies on data protection, intellectual property, and professional standards.
  • Stay informed about emerging AI tools and techniques and collaborate with firm leadership to identify compliant opportunities to enhance client solutions and internal processes.
  • Mentoring team members on career development, technical, and soft skills
  • Contribute beyond client delivery, engaging in various activities such as recruiting, shadowing opportunities, marketing, business development, practice development, and operational improvement initiatives
  • Implement performance improvement and cost‑reduction initiatives to drive operational efficiencies
What You'll Bring:
  • 5+ years of consulting and/or relevant industry experience with functional/technical proficiency with implementation of at least one module within a financial system solution (i.e. Coupa, SAP, NetSuite, Ariba, etc.)
  • Background in Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Sourcing, and/or Supply Chain Management
  • Experience in designing and facilitating set‑up and configuration of one or more Coupa modules
  • Experience with business process re‑engineering, analysis and project management, accounting/business workflow, end‑to‑end solution design, and technical specification documentation using tools like Microsoft Visio and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work with data to meet export/import requirements, demonstrating proficiency in data formatting and manipulation
  • Ability to articulate and create design documentation for functional areas within sourcing, new vendors, procurement, AP, contracting and others
  • Comfort with AI: Demonstrated ability to responsibly explore and adopt firm‑approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation.
  • Continuous Learning Mindset: Openness to learning and applying emerging technologies including AI and automation in alignment with firm policies and client standards.
  • Experience mentoring junior team members and helping project teams resolve complex and multi‑faceted issues
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, or similar discipline
  • Coupa certification preferred
  • Willingness to travel domestically 50-75% for project milestones; travel varies based on client preferences

$140,000 - $190,000 a year

CrossCountry Consulting is required to include an estimate of the compensation range for this role. The following range takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, education, licenses, certifications, business needs, and internal equity. An estimate of the current range is $140,000 - $190,000 per year + annual bonus + additional benefits.
