Job summary

The Night Crew Manager at Niemann Foods is responsible for supervising department operations after hours to maximize gross margins, ensure sales production, and control inventory and expenses. You will lead night crew staff in stocking, receiving, and display maintenance while enforcing safety policies and Grocery Best Practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One to three months related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Manage assets including receiving, invoicing, pricing, shrink control, and inventory.
• Oversee production hours of grocery, frozen and dairy.
• Train and supervise night crew associates in stocking, sorting, cutting, displays, and back stock per Grocery Best Practices.
• Maintain product availability, placement, rotation, cleanliness, safety, pricing and signing for grocery, frozen and dairy.
• Maintain all store paperwork and planning for Grocery Best Practices.
• Handle product ordering and receiving tasks.
• Adhere to store and department policies and procedures.
• Enforce safety policies and act as a safety role model.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

SUMMARY

The Night Crew Manager will manage department operations including but not limited to maximizing gross margins, ensuring sales production, controlling inventory and expenses.The Night Crew Manager will ensure a positive shopping environment for customers and a positive working environment for Associates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for company assets including receiving, invoicing, pricing, shrink control, and inventory.
• To manage production hours of grocery, frozen and dairy.
• Train, monitor and assist night crew associates to be efficient at stocking, sorting, cutting, displays red dots and back stock according to Grocery Best Practices
• Ensure grocery, frozen and dairy conditions for product availability and placement, blocking/facing, rotation, cleanliness, safety, pricing and signing.
• Maintain all paperwork required by the store and Grocery Best Practices.(Planning, monitoring and production.)

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Directly supervises a varied number of Associates.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
• Responsibilities include training Associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
