The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $120,000 -$180,000 per year* (see below footnote for additional compensation and benefits information).

Key Responsibilities

The Country Risk Management Team is made up of economists, political scientists and finance professionals brought together to understand the global environment and how it can affect business outcomes. We cover ~120 countries and the questions we answer on a day-to-day basis are always evolving. We are currently recruiting a country risk analyst to cover the Americas region (US/Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean) from our New York office.

Our small team favours analysts who can tackle unstructured problems with independence and a rigorous, detailed approach. The work we do is always applied and relevant to business objectives.

As a member of the team you will focus on the firm’s country risk in the Americas:

  • Monitor economic, political and policy trends to better anticipate changes in business environments that will affect Nomura

* base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, corporate and functional title and duties, job-related knowledge and advanced degrees, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
