Job summary

Gap Personnel is seeking a Counterbalance Forklift Driver for our client site in Stowmarket, Suffolk (IP14). The role is full-time and based in a large warehouse with both indoor and yard work. Night shifts run 18:00–06:00 on a 4-on/4-off schedule, with transport from Colchester/Ipswich points available. Licences accepted if current or up to 12 months out of date.

This temporary position focuses on inbound goods, put-away, picking and despatch tasks within a dynamic distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Counterbalance forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to operate within a large Distribution Warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound goods and assist with put-away, picking and despatch.
• Work as part of a team in a large warehouse/yard.
• Follow daily tasks as directed for efficient goods movement.

Counterbalance Forklift Driver (This role is FULL TIME only)

The Role:

• Working inside a large warehouse and/or the external yard
• Part of a team within a large Distribution Warehouse with varied work including inbound goods unloading, put-away, picking, despatch and related tasks as assigned on the day.

Contract Type: Temporary - ongoing

Salary Counterbalance Forklift Driver

• Nights: £15.00

Hours of work as a full time Counterbalance Forklift Driver

• 4 days on 4 days off schedule
• 18:00 - 06:00
