Job summary

Granite City Electric Supply Company-Falmouth is seeking a Counter Sales/Warehouse Associate to serve customers, enter and fill orders, and gain product knowledge. You will also help with warehouse duties such as inventory, receiving, storing, picking and shipping materials.

The role emphasizes accurate order processing, customer service excellence and teamwork across departments, with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and sales focus required.
• Ability to manage inventory and enter data accurately.
• Basic math skills and computer proficiency needed.
• Experience with Eclipse software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers in person and by phone, fill orders quickly and accurately.
• Enter stock, special, direct and back orders as required by customers.
• Maintain sales area clean and organized.
• Stock shelves and assist in fast, accurate order filling.
• Display and stock material in counter area and show room; participate in promotions.
• Attend classes/meetings to gain product knowledge and improve sales skills.
• Support safe work environment and keep facilities clean.
• Assist in promotions and promotions events.
• Assist with inventory control, stock maintenance, credits and defects.
• Provide product/pricing information to customers and support branch manager.
