Job summary

Cooper Electric Supply, LLC is seeking a Counter Sales Representative in Morristown, NJ to greet walk-in customers, assist with orders and product selection, and process sales from the warehouse.

You will maintain counter displays, collect payments, and work toward monthly targets for sales and gross margin while encouraging use of digital tools with our customer base.

Qualifications

• Sales experience and/or electrical knowledge preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong mathematics, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate information and present solutions to customers.
• Ability to operate computers and relevant software.
• Ability to prioritize needs in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• The ability to sit, stand, and walk for the full length of the assigned shift.
• The ability to lift, push, and pull material and objects weighing up to 50 lbs. and heavier weights with proper equipment.
• The ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climbto perform various duties.
• The ability to operate appropriate powered industrial trucks safely. Training will be provided.
• Various portions of the job are performed in a retail and warehouse setting.

Salary Range: $18 - $24/hr based on applicable experience

Location: Morristown, NJ

Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
