Job summary

Crawford Electric Supply in Vicksburg, MS seeks an Inside Sales Associate to support customer orders, learn product lines, and help deliver exceptional service.

You will use vendor catalogs and the Eclipse pricing system to quote merchandise, coordinate delivery dates, and resolve issues while promoting branch promotions and the company motto, Whatever it Takes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months or more of related experience.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to perform math functions in all units of measure.
• Ability to calculate discounts, interest and commissions.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as technical or general business publications.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office products.
• Basic electrical product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Supports Outside Sales with customer orders.
• Determines type of merchandise desired by becoming familiar with products sold and utilizing vendor catalogs and other reference materials.
• Utilizes Eclipse program for pricing structure and order entry.
• Estimates date of delivery based on knowledge of company delivery schedule.
• Resolves customer order problems and complaints promptly.
• Describes/demonstrates products using samples or catalogs showing features and benefits.
• Sells and promotes branch and company-wide special promotions as directed.

Responsibilities

• Supports Outside Sales with customer orders.

• Basic electrical product knowledge.
