Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Counter Sales Representative in Minnesota. You will be the face of our business for walk-in customers, learning Graybar’s wide product range and guiding customers to the products that meet their needs. You will also handle will-call orders and provide outstanding service.

In this role you will learn products via training, maintain the counter area, and assist in the warehouse. This position emphasizes customer service and physical work in a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Enthusiasm for customer service.
• Ability to communicate well with customers to understand their needs.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements necessary to work in a warehouse environment.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment and proper use of PPE.
• 2+ years experience preferred.

As a Counter Sales Representative, you serve as a key face-to-face contact for our customers. You will sell merchandise to walk-in customers as well as service will-call orders. Counter Sales Representatives at Graybar are known as being product experts, so you will also learn about the wide variety of products we offer and how to assist customers with their needs.

In This Role You Will

• Place, arrange and maintain merchandise in counter area
• Sell merchandise to walk-in customers and manage will-call (pickup) orders
• Provide exemplary customer service
• Be active in the warehouse

Compensation Details:

The expected rate of pay for this position is $20.00 USD Hourly

Shift Hours and Schedule:

Monday through Friday - 6:00am to 3:00pm
