Rexel USA, Easton, MD is seeking a Counter Sales Representative to provide prompt service and product knowledge to customers at our Easton branch. You will support the counter, assist with orders or returns, and help stock and maintain showroom space.

The role involves light deliveries up to 20% of the time, strong customer service, and basic electrical product knowledge. High school diploma required; forklift certification and valid driver’s license preferred.

Formación

• 2+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience preferred
• Previous branch experience preferred
• Certification to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment preferred
• If required to drive: Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of the Motor Vehicle Record
• Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 30 days of hire
• Must not have had a suspended driver's license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years
• Must not have any at fault accidents in the past 3 years
• High School or GED - Required

• Assist with daily restocking, showroom maintenance, and keeping showroom and counter clean and organized
• May be required to perform other job functions within a branch when required including but not limited to inside sales, preparing and filling orders and/or receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping material, and maintaining branch equipment
• May be required to make deliveries up to 20% of the time
• Perform other duties as assigned

The Counter Sales Representative is a resource for immediate service and product knowledge for our customers. Provides excellent customer service by assisting customers promptly and courteously with their purchases and efficient processing of their orders. Works closely with the branch team to assist in receiving, shipping, and stocking.

• Electrical product knowledge and experience, including lighting, switchgear, controls, and electrical commodities preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience of electrical distribution or other electrical sales environments preferred
• Familiarity with automated order entry systems & PCs running Windows-based software preferred
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate on all levels within internal and external groups
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines
