Job summary

Graybar Electric Company, Inc. is seeking a Counter Sales Representative to be our face-to-face contact with walk-in customers and to handle service will-call orders.

You will learn Graybar's broad product range, assist customers with their needs, and maintain the counter area while actively supporting warehouse operations. This role emphasizes customer service and product knowledge in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic about customer service.

• Capable of performing physical requirements of a warehouse role.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment and PPE.
• 2+ years experience preferred.

You will sell merchandise to walk-in customers as well as service will-call orders. Counter Sales Representatives at Graybar are known as being product experts, so you will also learn about the wide variety of products we offer and how to assist customers with their needs.

What you bring to the table:

• Enthusiasm for customer service
• Ability to communicate well with customers to understand their needs
• Ability to perform the physical requirements necessary to work in a warehouse environment
• Safely operate warehouse equipment and proper use of PPE 2+ years experience preferred

Work Shift and Hours:

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.

Compensation Details:

The expected pay rate for this position is $21.50 per hour.

Additional Information:

Steel toed boots required.
