Summit Electric Supply is seeking a Counter Sales Associate to support customers in person or by phone and collaborate with service center staff and warehouse teams to deliver top-notch service. The role includes handling orders, restocking, and assisting with daily operations across the store.

The position emphasizes customer care, product knowledge, and a willingness to assist across departments in a fast-paced environment. Full-time employment with strong benefits is offered.

Role Summary

The Counter Sales Associate is primarily responsible for assisting Summit's customers over the phone or in person and works closely with the Service Center sales staff and warehouse associates to ensure a high level of customer service. Summit offers ongoing training and education opportunities as well as competitive benefits and salary packages. Exceptional service to external and internal customers is critical to the success of a counter associate. Must effectively partner with customer service representatives and warehouse associates as needed to maintain levels of excellence throughout Summit.

Beneficial Skills and Experience

• Experience in the electrical distribution industry
• Previous experience in the Summit Warehouse is preferred.
• Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance

Physical Challenges

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs on a regular and consistent basis

• Ability to operate standard warehouse equipment
• Ability to climb stairs
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
