George T. Sanders in Silverthorne is seeking a Counter Sales Representative to be the first point of contact for trade and retail customers, recommending plumbing and heating products and providing practical advice.

You will handle sales at the counter, process orders, answer inquiries, and help maintain a clean showroom while supporting branch operations and warehouse tasks as needed. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8 hours per day, no nights.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to type.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Computer skills.
• Experience in trades a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform all sales and operational functions at the sales counter, including order processing, pricing, and fulfillment.
• Provide friendly, professional service by assisting customers with product selection, sales, and technical questions.
• Handle customer phone orders and respond to product, pricing, and general inquiries.
• Process customer orders, returns, and all paperwork accurately and efficiently.
• Assist customers and sales associates by pulling and preparing customer orders.
• Maintain a clean, organized showroom, sales counter, customer areas, and restrooms.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment to build relationships with repeat customers.
• During peak periods, assist as an order runner with focus on pulling and fulfilling orders.
