Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sales & Business Development: sell industrial, medical, and related goods to customers.
• Customer Support: assist customers via email, phone, and in person; advise on equipment and material needs.
• Operations & Logistics: manage loading/unloading, operate forklifts, backup driver when needed.
• Inventory Management: monitor hardgoods and cylinders to avoid shortages.
• Administrative & Financial: handle accounts receivable, paperwork coding, costing, and pricing.

This is a unique hybrid position that blends in-store customer sales with local driving and delivery. • Sales & Business Development: Selling industrial, medical, and specialty gases, welding supplies, and related equipment. This includes soliciting sales from both new and existing customers.

• Customer Support: Assisting customers via email, telephone, and in-person walk-ins. I also provide guidance on equipment usage and material requirements.

• Operations & Logistics: Managing the loading and unloading of cylinders, operating forklifts, and serving as a backup driver when necessary.

• Inventory Management: Monitoring and maintaining proper hardgoods and cylinder levels to prevent supply emergencies.

• Administrative & Financial: Managing accounts receivable, including discussing past-due accounts and collecting payments. I also ensure all paperwork is accurately completed, including coding, costing, and pricing.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age

• Must have a valid Class B or better CDL.

• Must have HAZMAT endorsement or be able to obtain the endorsement within 90 days of being hired.

• Must have at least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience within the last 5 years.

• Successful completion of Airgas Background and Motor Vehicle Check.

• DOT Clearinghouse verification from previous employers is required.

• Ability to routinely lift 25 - 75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76 to greater than 100 lbs.

• Willingness to work outdoors in changing temperatures.

• Ability to maintain a drug-free workplace.

• Adherence to safety regulations and policies.

• Forklift Experience

• Touch freight delivery experience
