Job summary

Pomp's Tire Service, Inc. in Marquette, MI is seeking a Commercial Counter Salesperson to guide customers through tire purchases and related services. You will be the first point of contact, helping customers select the right tires and explaining available services in a fast-paced retail environment.

Ideal candidates bring strong customer service and sales skills, basic computer abilities, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge or experience in commercial tire services is preferred
• Previous customer service experience is required
• Sales experience is a plus
• Basic computer skills are necessary
• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 100 pounds occasionally

Responsibilities

• Guide customers in selecting the right tires based on their needs and preferences
• Provide expert recommendations on available services and products
• Assist with inventory management to ensure accurate stock levels
• Process invoices efficiently and accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized showroom
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager to support daily operations
