POOLCORP in Lenexa, KS is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to assist walk-in and phone customers, process orders, and ensure a smooth sales cycle. The role supports warranty handling, delivery estimates, and warehouse duties within a fast-paced environment.

The position offers competitive hourly pay ($20–$25) with performance bonuses up to $2,500, full benefits, and opportunities for career growth within a leading distributor of outdoor living products. Must be 18+ with a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years inside sales experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 100 pounds with a dolly.
• Strong customer-service attitude and ability to interact with customers all day.
• Good computer skills including MS Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with inventory and customer issues.
• Experience with pool supplies or related products helpful.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Establishes relationships with walk-in and phone customers, representing the company professionally.
• Process, pull, and distribute customer products quickly and efficiently.
• Handle questions and complaints in a timely, professional manner.
• Enter sales orders accurately to generate invoices for pickup or delivery.
• Secure payment of invoices with proper funds or credit authorization.
• Evaluate warranty items according to policy and customer needs.
• Estimate delivery dates based on vendor production schedules.
• Assist in receiving, shipping, and general warehouse duties.

Location: Lenexa, KS - 20, 14792 West 99th Street, Lenexa, Kansas - 66215

Pay: $20-$25/hour and up to $2,500 through our performance bonuses.

Work Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-5pm and a rotating Saturday Morning shift

The Inside Sales Associate works with customers to find what they want, create solutions and ensure a smooth sales process.

What to Expect?

• Establishes relationships with customers by assisting walk-in and phone customers, representing the company in a professional manner.
• Processes, pulls and distributes customer products quickly and efficiently.
• Handles questions and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Accurately performs data entry of sales orders to generate an invoice of products ordered to be picked up or delivered.
• Secures payment of invoice with proper funds or obtain credit authorization in accordance with company policy.
• Evaluates and determines disposition of warranty items handled at the counter, as prescribed by the manufacturer's warranty policy and customer needs.
• Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of vendor’s production and delivery schedules.
• Assists in receiving, shipping, and general warehouse duties.

What You Will Need

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years related inside sales experience preferred.
• The ability to move 100 pounds with a dolly.
• Strong counter "presence" and the ability to deal directly with customers for a large portion of the day.
• Strong customer-service attitude.
• Good computer skills including MS Office programs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment dealing with inventory, product allocations and customer issues.
• Familiarity with a related product line such as pool supplies, parts, chemicals or pool construction helpful.
• To be 18 years of age or older to apply.
