Job summary

White Cap is seeking a Counter Sales Associate to join our on-site team in Missouri. You will deliver exceptional service to walk-in and phone customers, process orders, and provide product information with a focus on industrial construction supplies.

You will upsell related products, advise customers on features and warranties, and assist with order accuracy and problem resolution. A background in construction products and Spanish language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success delivering excellent customer service.
• Experience using sales order software, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of construction/industrial products.
• Spanish language proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to walk-in and phone customers.
• Process orders, quotes, and enter orders into the system.
• Explain product features, benefits, and warranty information.
• Provide technical advice and troubleshoot customer problems.
• Upsell related products and promotions to customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

A_ Counter Sales Associate _at White Cap…

• Demonstrates exceptional customer service to our walk-in, phone, and will call customers.
• Processes orders, quotes prices, enters orders into the system and provides order information to customers. Pulls orders as required.
• Communicates product features, benefits, and warranty policy information to customers.
• Demonstrates knowledge of products and their applications (provides technical advice, troubleshoots, and helps resolve customers’ problems.)
• Upsells by identifying related products, add-on extensions, and informing customers of product promotions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated success providing excellent customer service.
• Experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
• Spanish language proficiency.
