Job summary

White Cap is seeking a Counter Sales Associate to serve walk-in, phone, and will-call customers with a focus on accuracy and friendly service. This on-site role supports order processing, product recommendations, and basic warranty information in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with a knowledge of construction products, use Oracle-based sales tools, and may assist with upselling promotions. Bilingual Spanish is a plus, reflecting White Cap’s diverse customer base and commitment to

• Demonstrated success providing excellent customer service.
• Experience with sales order software, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates exceptional customer service to walk-in, phone, and will-call customers.
• Processes orders, quotes prices, enters orders into the system and provides order information to customers.
• Communicates product features, benefits, and warranty information to customers.
• Demonstrates knowledge of products and applications, provides technical advice and troubleshooting.
• Upsells by identifying related products and informing customers of promotions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
