Applied Training Solutions in New Jersey seeks a Counter-IED (C-IED) Instructor at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. You will deliver instruction on CIED principles, manage training devices and pyrotechnics, transport students, and serve as Range Safety Officer.
Requirements include Navy EOD graduate or equivalent, 4+ years EOD or 3 years C-IED instruction, an associate degree, a valid driver’s license, and ability to operate government vehicles. A background check and clearance are required.

While performing the duties of this position, the instructor is regularly required to speak, listen, and write. Frequent physical activities include the use of hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, as well as foot and ankle movements. The instructor is also required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms. The individual must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The typical noise level in the work environment is moderate. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
