Job summary

Marcus Theatres is seeking a friendly counter attendant to join our fast-paced environment. You will take customer orders, enter them into the POS, assemble menu items, and pour beer and wine at the counter while upholding guest and menu standards.

This role reports to the Kitchen Supervisor. You will help with kitchen setup, support guests with requests, maintain ticket times, handle cash and card transactions, and keep the area clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of appropriate service standards.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to understand verbal and written English.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and learn all menu items.

Responsibilities

• Assist the cook, during busy times, in food order preparation.
• Responsible for assisting in kitchen set-up and tear-down at the beginning and end of shift.
• Assist with special guest requests to ensure total guest satisfaction.
• Communicate with other kitchen associates to ensure total guest satisfaction.
• Maintain ticket times.
• Properly hand cash & credit transactions.
• Remove and wash all dirty dishes from kitchen area.
• Maintain standard of plate presentation.
• Maintain condition and cleanliness of work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
