BayMark Health Services is seeking a Counselor Trainee to assist patients through medically assisted programs and provide crisis management strategies. The role includes leading group and individual sessions, evaluating progress, and coordinating with doctors, nurses and therapists.
You will develop treatment and discharge plans, support families, and help patients achieve long-term recovery in a compassionate outpatient setting.
Compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor Trainee Needed!
Counselor Trainee will be in charge with assisting patients through medically assisting programs and offering techniques for handling opioid addiction. Counselor conducts group sessions and individual sessions to assist with crisis management and coping strategies. Additionally, counselor will evaluate patients’ progress during therapy. Addiction counselors may also need to collaborate with doctors, nurses and therapists for patients’ therapy and treatment for best overall outcome.
Salary ranges from $47,000 – $62,400 annualized. (This position is non-exempt, overtime eligible with prior approval)
The salary of the candidate(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, education, licensure, and training.
