  • Provide professional counseling services to patients and their families through individual and/or group settings.
  • Conduct lectures and participate in community outreach activities.
  • Document assessment, care provided, treatment plans and data collection appropriately in the Addiction Recovery patient record and other relative locations.
  • Provide educational support to the program.
  • Participate in marketing activities of Addiction Recovery to the hospital, clinic, other health professionals and the general community.
  • Provide assessments for patients with diagnostic impression and treatment recommendations.
  • Support patients who are seeking help to become abstinent from substances.
  • Teach patients what the disease of addiction is, and its signs and symptoms.
  • Help patients identify resources in their community which support ongoing abstinence.
  • Teach family members and loved ones about addiction disease and what their part is in the recovery process.

Responsibilities

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $23.36per hour - $39.01per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
