Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare New River Valley Inpatient in Radford, VA is seeking a Virginia-licensed or provisionally licensed counselor to join our clinical team.

You will provide individual, family, and group therapy while building skills toward licensure goals, and you’ll work in a collaborative environment with opportunities for free licensure supervision and CEU credits.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in human services or a related field from an accredited college.
• Virginia credentials: CSAC-S, Resident in Counseling, Supervis ee in Social Work, LSATP, LPC, or LCSW.
• Virginia-licensed or provisionally licensed counselor in the inpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group counseling services
• Assess clients' behavioral, emotional, cognitive, social, and other treatment needs
• Develop and support individualized treatment goals
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Coordinate care with referral sources and outpatient providers
• Participate in aftercare planning and continuity of care
• Provide documentation needed for utilization review
• Support clients through challenging moments and provide crisis intervention when needed
• Participate in an on‑call rotation as assigned
• Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary treatment team

$61,000–$70,000/year , based on education and experience
Full‑time | Monday‑Friday, 9 AM‑5 PM
