Job summary

Specialized Assessment & Consulting in Houston, TX (77040) is seeking a part-time, school-based LPC/LCSW/LSSP to provide counseling services to qualifying students, complete counseling evaluations, attend ARD meetings, and consult with school staff.

You will manage a caseload of 12 students (grades K-8) and earn rates starting at $56/hr. This in-person role offers supportive mentorship and benefits.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice in Texas as LSSP, LPC, or LCSW.
• Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 2 years of school-age counseling experience.
• Ability to work without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling services to qualifying students.
• Complete counseling evaluations.
• Attend ARD meetings and contribute to IEP planning.
• Consult with school staff on student needs.

Qualifications for LPC / LCSW / LSSP positions

• Current license to practice in Texas as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) , or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Master's degree from a recognized, accredited college or university
• A minimum of 2 years experience providing psychological and/or counseling services to school-aged children
• Ability to practice without supervision
