Qualifications

• Doctorate in Counseling Psychology or closely related discipline by August 20, 2027.
• Record of published research.
• Ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in varying modalities (in-person, online, and/or hybrid).
• Demonstrated potential for obtaining external funding for research.
• Training and/or experience supervising practica.
• License or license-eligible as a psychologist in New York State.
• Commitment to developing inclusive and equitable relationships within a diverse campus community.

Responsibilities

• Conduct innovative research and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
• Secure external funding to support programmatic research.
• Strong teaching of undergraduate, doctoral, and master's courses (online and in-person).
• Advising doctoral and master's students; chairing and serving on dissertation committees.
• Supervising doctoral-level practicum at the university training clinic and in community agencies; masters-level practica in community agencies.
• Take on or share leadership roles within the Division; contribute to department, school, university and professional service.
