Select Specialty Hospital - Akron is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide patient-focused care in Akron, OH. This PRN/per diem position supports post-ICU recovery with opportunities for advancement while offering a structured orientation and benefits for eligible part-time roles.

The role involves hands-on therapy under supervision, ongoing assessments, and documentation to support continued patient progress and quality care.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• BLS certification required or to be completed within first 90 days of employment.

Responsabilités

• Reporting directly to the Occupational Therapist, treat patients with complex needs and diagnoses.
• Conduct individual patient therapy regimens under OT supervision.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and modify therapy as indicated with OT collaboration.
• Complete documentation per department policies and procedures.
• Participate in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education sessions.
