Job summary

Ernest Health, Inc. in Mesquite, TX is seeking a COTA to join Mesquite Rehabilitation Institute. Under occupational therapy supervision, you will provide rehabilitative services to patients with physical impairments and help restore function.

You will monitor patient progress, document outcomes for therapists, and uphold facility mission and patient-centered care. This PRN role supports a busy inpatient rehab program with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a COTA per state guidelines.
• Current Basic Life Support/CPR card required.
• One year of direct patient care experience in rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of an occupational therapist, provides rehabilitative services to individuals with physical impairments.
• Monitors the patient's program and records patient's progress for the occupational therapist.
• Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Current licensure as a COTA required per state guidelines.
