Legacy Healthcare seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled nursing team. You will support residents by implementing individualized therapy plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

Ideal candidates hold an associate degree from an accredited OTA program and an Iowa COTA certificate; one year of experience is preferred. We offer competitive wages, tuition reimbursement, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, an associate degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program and an unencumbered State of Iowa COTA certificate.
• One (1) year of experience as an Occupational Therapist Assistant is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist with the design, implementation, and delivery of customized occupational therapy programs to assist residents independently carry out everyday tasks.
