East Bay Post Acute in Castro Valley, California, is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house therapy team. You will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to help residents improve independence with ADLs and functional abilities.

Qualifications

• Current and active California COTA license.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a licensed OT, implement treatment plans.
• Assist residents in improving ADLs and functional abilities.
• Maintain accurate treatment documentation (daily notes, progress reports).
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on goals and discharge planning.
• Educate residents and families on therapeutic techniques and safety.
• Train restorative aides and support nursing staff as needed.
• Foster positive relationships with residents and families to support rehabilitation goals.
