Twin Oaks Health & Rehab in Lansing, Kansas is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help design and implement individualized plans to improve residents' daily living skills and quality of life.

You will conduct assessments, lead therapy sessions, and work with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.

Qualifications

• COTA certification is required to practice.
• Experience with geriatric populations is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with a care team to support residents.

Responsabilités

• Assist licensed Occupational Therapists in the development and implementation of individualized therapy plans
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify residents' strengths, weaknesses, and goals
• Design and lead occupational therapy sessions to address specific needs and goals
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident progress and treatment plans
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss resident care and progress
