Job summary

Spokane Assured Home Health, part of LHC Group and within the Optum family, is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant in Spokane, WA to provide therapy to restore patients’ physical abilities in a home care setting.

The role requires WA OTA licensure, a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation, and offers a comprehensive benefits package with competitive pay. Two types of compensation apply: per-visit and hourly, aligned with productivity and visits performed.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in the state of Washington.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws governing occupational therapy in home care and adhere to the supervising OT's treatment plan.
• Instruct and aid patients with evidence-based therapy within scope and state laws.
• Observe, document, and report patient responses to treatment to nurse supervisor and physician.
• Educate patient, family, caregiver, and health care team on therapy within OTA scope.
• Function in diverse home settings regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition.
