Job summary

Adoration Health, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, seeks a Home Health COTA to join the team in Murfreesboro, TN. You will support an OT with one-to-one patient care, promote independence, and help deliver therapy in the home setting.

The role offers full-time schedule, team support, and opportunities for growth within a compassionate home-health environment.

Qualifications

• Degree from a certified occupational therapy assistant training program.
• Current Occupational Therapist Assistant certification.
• Knowledge of neurologic injury and neuro-rehabilitation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing vocational and educational activities to restore and reinforce task performance.
• Conduct community reintegration activities for occupational therapy needs.
• Provide training and document results of training.
• Document status changes to the rehab team.

Responsibilities

As a Home Health COTA, You will:

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in the implementation of vocational and educational activities designed to restore and reinforce individuals' task performance and promote their overall health and self-sufficiency
• Conduct community reintegration activities to assist individuals with their occupational therapy needs during physical activity
• Provide training to individuals and any others involved in their rehabilitation, and documenting results of the training
• Support individuals' plan of treatment by documenting and reporting status changes to the rehabilitation specialist, clinical coordinator, attending physician, and other treatment team members as appropriate

Qualifications

• Degree from a certified occupational therapy assistant training program
• Current Occupational Therapist Assistant certification
• Knowledge of complex neurologic injury and neuro-rehabilitation techniques
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience assisting in the assessment and management of traumatic brain injury or related neurological conditions
• Current CPR certification
• Knowledge of complex neurologic injury and orthopedic rehabilitation technique
