Job summary

Bethany Center for Rehabilitation & Healing is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time role in Tennessee. The COTA will carry out treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, following set goals and documenting patient progress to support ongoing care planning.

Requirements include a valid TN license/registration, experience with long-term or geriatric care preferred, and strong documentation and communication skills to collaborate with the

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of TN
• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under supervision of Occupational Therapist
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred but not limited to
• Well versed with documentation writing
• Document patient's progress on weekly progress note in a timely fashion
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care
• Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence
• Report to work on time, adhere to scheduled hours and demonstrate professionalism at all times
• Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation

Responsibilities

• Carry out best practice treatments under supervision of the Occupational Therapist
• Provide treatment by adhering to specific goals developed by the OT
• Provide feedback to the supervising OT via documentation or other facility-required methods
