Job summary

CareRite Centers, LLC seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to carry out treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. You will implement goals, document progress weekly, and collaborate with all disciplines to ensure patient-centered care in a long-term care setting.

Strong communication and punctuality are essential, as is delivering exceptional patient service and professionalism. Additional duties may be assigned by the Director of Rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care preferred.
• Well versed with documentation writing.
• Document patient’s progress on weekly progress notes.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient-centered care.
• Exceptional patient service skills and professionalism.
• Report to work on time and adhere to scheduled hours.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out best practice treatments under OT supervision.
• Deliver treatment according to goals set by OT.
• Provide feedback to supervising OT via documentation.
